OPT-IN WORKFLOW SUMMARY
Customer purchases story via checkout process and can explicitly opt-in to receive SMS by checking the SMS opt-in checkbox and providing their phone number. After successful payment, if SMS opt-in checkbox is checked AND phone number is provided, SMS is automatically sent with secure, time-limited link (7 days) to access purchased story library. For gift orders, SMS is sent to the gift giver (purchaser) with forwarding instructions - recipients receive story link via email only (TCPA compliant).
